Mansur Gavriel bag (via My Chameleon), The Daily Edited card holder, iPhone 6, Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia cologne, MAC lipstick in Lady Danger, Nars blush in Liberte, Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara
I’m so in love. Just look at it.
I had been so intent on getting the ever so popular bucket bag that I never even considered the crossbody as an alternative. But then I reevaluated: which bag is more “me”? Which bag can I see myself using 10 years on? Which bag is more timeless? The answer was obvious.
Though I still really want the bucket bag it seemed wise to purchase this one first. I’ve been using it on weekends and nights out and it really is the perfect companion. It fits my wallet, card holder, phone, portable charger, a lipstick, lipbalm and keys with some room to spare.
I wear it both crossbody and generally swinging from my shoulder. The leather is so soft and supple though quite delicate. It’s made of vegetable tanned leather which means that it’s naked, with no synthetic top finishes. But the beauty in that is each and every mark is a lovely blemish symbolising all the times I’ve taken this bag out and about.
